Rainwater pumping station and confluence pumping station
The basic
characteristic of rainwater pumping station is large flow and small head,
therefore. Axial-flow pumps are mostly used, and sometimes mixed-flow pumps are
used. The general process flow of rainwater pumping station is as follows:
Inlet pipe:'inlet gate well, grit tank, grid room, foretank, and catch basin'
water outlet and one outlet pipe, outlet gate well and outlet. For combined
pumping stations, the catch basin is generally sewage and rainwater combined,
and the pump It can be set separately or shared.
Basic types of pump
rooms
The rainwater pump house (combined pump house) is generally built
together with the collection tank and the pump. According to whether the ditch
pool and the pump are separated by unsuitable partition walls, they are divided
into "dry room" and "wet room".
The "dry room" pump room (as shown in Figure
5. Lo) is generally divided into three floors. The upper floor is the motor
room. Install motors and other electrical equipment; the middle layer is the
water pump room, where the water pump shaft and the water pressure pipe are
installed; the lower layer is the water collection tank. The sump is located
under the pump room and separated by a partition wall not far from the water.
Rainwater from the sump is only allowed to enter the pump, not into the machine
room. Therefore, the motor has good operating conditions, convenient
maintenance, and good sanitary conditions. The disadvantage is that the
structure of the pump station is complex. The cost is higher.
In the "wet
room type" pump room (as shown in Figure 5.11), below the motor room is the
sump, and the pump is immersed in the sump. Although the structure of this type
of pump station is simple and low in cost, the pump station is not as easy to
repair as the "dry chamber". The pump station is wet and the sanitary conditions
are poor.
Urban rainwater pumping stations and combined pumping stations
should generally be set up as dry pumping stations in the city, using the closed
base of the uranium flow pump to facilitate maintenance and management.
