Vacuum Pressure Sintering Furnace

In vacuum pressure sintering furnace, sinter is subjected to both high temperature and mechanical pressure and vacuum. It can be used to sinter products with density second only to that of casting products. Generally, powder materials are filled into graphite moulds under 700-1500MN/m3 mechanical pressure and heated to 2500 C in vacuum. The mould can be heated directly by electric current or indirectly by induction.
Vacuum pressure sintering furnace is mainly used to sinter dense billets which are easy to react with high temperature gas, such as oxides, carbides, borides, etc. After sintering, the density can reach a high density, which is more than 95% of the theoretical value, and has high purity. Graphite resistors and graphite moulds lose very little weight in vacuum operation. Vacuum hot pressing sintering is to control the quality of sintered body by using many parameters such as high pressure, temperature and time in compaction process.
